X Codec Pack is a small codec pack. Just the most used (popular) codecs are included (see below). All the codecs, filters, tools inside X Codec Pack are freeware! Unlike other codec packs, you can select the components you want to install, you get uninstall support, detection for previous installed versions, update for new versions - you don?t have to download the whole pack again.
X Codec Pack 2 contains the following codecs / filters :
- DivX codec
- XviD codec
- GPL MPeG-1/2 decoder
- AC3 filter
- DivX AntiFreeze
- DirectVobSub (VSFilter)
- Video Inspector
- Media Player Classic
